War Music is a fully independent Urban / Hip Hop label birth out of Nottingham also notoriously known as ( Shottingham ). Which started in the early to mid 2000’s in an era when the city was named as ( assassination city ) by the media due to it being the murder capital of the U.K.

This was due to the high level of organised street crime and violence and poverty within the inner city areas which still continues today.

Anarchy who founded the label connected with his child hood friends who all had the same like minded passion for Hip Hop music, with a need and want to elevate out of the streets an make a difference to there own lives as well as there listeners.

This formed the super group ( Waridaz ) an elite team of emcees that all came from rival areas of the city but united together through respect and acknowledgment of each other’s skills to form a formidable force on the mic.

Being due to there many variances in styles and attributes this leads to such versatility in there music. Which is greatly needed In a time of so much diluted copy and paste forms of artistry nowadays. War Music prides itself on its artists lyrical prowess and ability to make socially and politically conscious music with controversial subjects. As well as heavy dark hardcore street based anthems and catchy club bangers, all still with meaning and substance.
